Welcome Golden Panthers! At Pope John Paul II we are proud to compete in 21 Varsity level sports. We are proud members of the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC), District 1, and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletics Association (PIAA). 

 

Although our school is relatively young we have a rich history in success. We are the home to the 2014 AAA State Champion Baseball team, the 2023 AAA State Champion Volleyball team, as well as 2011 Javelin State Champion Tommy Lang and 2019 Individual Wrestling Champion Ryan Vulakh. Added to that are countless PAC and District 1 Championships to line our gym walls. 

 

At PJP we encourage multi-sport participation for a well rounded student athlete.  61% of our student population participates in sports and of that 40% participate in two sports. I hope that PJP athletics is a place where you can find your purpose.
